The executive advisory committee provides independent external oversight of
BioF:GREAT. Its members are glycoscientists, analytical chemists, computational biologists
and education specialists drawn from universities, national laboratories and research
institutes outside the University of Georgia.
The committee meets bi-annually and completes annual performance reviews scoring the
objective metrics defined in the strategic implementation plan. Its members are drawn
from outside the BioF:GREAT team and its institutions. User proposals are assessed
separately, by the internal review committee and the
external review board.
