How to order
Glycoenzymes and nucleotide-sugar donors listed in the BioF:GREAT catalogue are distributed to academic, government and industrial laboratories. Orders are handled by the BioF:GREAT team through the University of Georgia; the steps below apply to both catalogue products and custom requests.
Ordering steps
- Identify the product. Browse the glycoenzyme catalogue or the NDP sugar catalogue and note the gene symbol or compound name and the quantity required. Catalogue prices are quoted per 100 µg of GFP-tagged enzyme.
- Submit a request. Complete the glycoenzyme request form (or the compound request form for NDP sugars), listing the product, quantity and delivery address. Requests for products not in the catalogue, or for larger quantities, should describe the intended application.
- Receive a quotation. The BioF:GREAT team confirms availability, lead time and total cost including shipping, and issues a formal quotation for your purchasing office.
- Place the purchase order. Return the purchase order referencing the quotation number. Material transfer documentation is issued at this stage where the recipient institution requires it.
- Shipping. Enzymes ship on dry ice with a product data sheet giving construct details, specific activity and recommended reaction conditions. Store on receipt as directed on the data sheet.
Terms
- Catalogue prices are per 100 µg of GFP-tagged enzyme and exclude shipping.
- Products are supplied for research use only, and are not for diagnostic or therapeutic application.
- Lead times depend on current stock; enzymes not held in stock are produced to order.
