Glyco-Enzyme Repository of EXpression constructs (GE-REX)
GE-REX holds expression constructs for glycoenzymes — Gateway® pDONR entry clones, mammalian and bacterial expression constructs, and recombinant baculovirus vectors — together with the expression-level data recorded for each. It is the source of the constructs behind the recombinant enzymes in the glycoenzyme catalogue.
Finding a construct
- If you know the gene symbol. Browse the available genes by alphabetical list or by CAZy family.
- If you know the activity but not the symbol. Search for the gene symbol from the enzyme name or activity first, then look up the gene record.
- To acquire material. From the gene record, request the corresponding Gateway® pDONR clone, mammalian or bacterial expression construct, or recombinant baculovirus vector.
- To compare expression levels. Expression levels for all constructs are collated on a summary spreadsheet.
